Samsung SGH T639 - Black (Unlocked) Cellular Phone

This phone has been giving me so many problems from day one. Problems range from freezing while texting requiring me to power off for a minute each time, battery life decreasing tremendously in a matter of a few months, dropped calls like crazy. My carrier says my reception in the area is perfect and they have sent out service men on several occasions so it must be this phone. It's nice and slim and the ability to change the face plate is great. I just would not recommend this phone. After a series of dropped calls in a period of 30 min, I vented in frustration to customer service and they finally agreed to give me a new phone.

This is a fairly new phone out for T-mobile but it works with any GSM carrier.
Is is larger than the previous models Samsung has put out, has a larger screen and buttons, good for those with larger hands. Has changeable face plates, four different colors. Samsung added the micro SD slot, so it has extra memory.
This phone has more features to it than the previous samsung models, is louder than any Samsung phone I have ever heard, which is great!!! It has a 1.3 mega pixel camera, takes great pictures, but does not have a flash. :(
This is a my faves phone, although we do not use that on our calling plan.

Over all, this is a phone I would recommend getting!!

I love this model so much I have purchased three- one for myself, my wife and son. Yes it is a basic flip phone but top of the line basic if that makes sense. More than anything it is the most trouble free phone model I've ever had. Samsung makes the best phones in this class. They are hard to hurt and if you scratch it up, just swap the color face to another one. Packed with features, good battery life and great service.

This phone is for a person who does not want a mini computer phone. It is small and thin. It is a flip which does not allow accidental calls.
This phone is simple, big buttoned, good sound quality, polyphonic ring tones, camera, video, voice recorder, and has a good battery life. Just a overall good design.

I bought this phone for my 10 yr old daughter who wanted a phone with a camera and an mp3 player. Of course I didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted her to have a nice phone. Needless to say I hit the jackpot with this baby! It's stylish and light weight but packs a whole lot in it's package. It's easy to operate so she feels comfortable using all of her features. It has great picture and sound quality. And the changeable colored face plates just added one more thing to brag about. My daughter is very happy and so am I. I definitely got a great deal on this phone. All said, this is a phone even I would use and I am an absolute electronics junkie!
