Samurai Jack: Season 1 (DVD, 2004, 2-Disc Set)

I like Samurai Jack ever since they put in Toonami of Cartoon Network. Yes, this DVD has all the episodes from Season 1 only. But the bad news is you'll have to clean the disc first before watching it. Overall this is good.

I bought this DVD because I used to watch Samuai Jack on Cartoon Network before it was taken off the air. I've always enjoyed the whole concept of a noble warrior being sent to the future and trying to find a way back to the past to vanquish his mortal enemy (who, by the way, now controls everthing in the future). The episodes are well thought out, imaginative, and highly entertaining. It's hard for me to choose which season is the best (there are 4 in all) because they are all wonderful. Samuai Jack is an excellent cartoon to be enjoyed by all. I only wish it had lasted more than 4 seasons.

I really like Samurai Jack season 1. What a great plot of good vs. evil. The color, drawings, and imagination is well worth watching. As many times as I have seen this, there's always something I see for the first time when I watch it again.

Samurai Jack is an underated cartoon that has come to build a cult of followers. If you like a dark, action packed story that has a moral to every episode this is something i would highly recommend. It is filled with comic book qualities and uses a great deal of the role of specific sounds and colors in each episode. Samurai Jack has inspired many of its viewers...Long live adult swim and cartoon network

Anyone that has seen this cartoon knows how epic it is. One of the coolest things made. From the animation to the story, Samuri Jack was one of the staples of the Cartoon Network and one of the reasons the network survived. Ultra-cool and likeable, the story of redemption and a hero against all odds is always a fan favorite. And the villian, Aku, too much personality for one demon to have!
