Movie synopsis
SAVE THE LAST DANCE 2 fashions a made-for-video sequel to the 2001 dance-drama blockbuster. Izabella Miko takes over Julia Stiles's role as aspiring ballerina Sara Johnson, who has left her Chicago ghetto to study dance at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. The story unfolds as Sara is mentored by her favorite teacher (Jacqueline Bisset), tangles with a jealous rival (Maria Brooks), and falls for a young professor (Columbus Short), ensuring that the sequel is awash with the same brand of passion and drama that made its parent film such a success.

We thought this movie was just ok as it is a continuation or sequel to Save the Last Dance that was released five years ago. This young dancer needs to make a decision whether she want to proceed with the Hip Hop or her passion of Ballet. It is rated PG 13 and is about hour and half long.

No where near as good as the first one, and they should have left Julia Stiles as the main character. I was bored with this one as opposed to the first movie. Honestly, was quite disappointed with this one.

) I really liked Save the last dance and that is why I bought Save te last dance 2. It had a very good begining but the ending could have been better. Although I did enjoy the movie I will watch it again.

It was good but not as good as the first. I bought it just to finish my DVD set of them because when I get a movie I like to have the complete set or other parts of it. If you liked the first one I think you will like this & if you like them then your next to watch would be Step Up & Step Up 2: The Streets. They go even farther into this type of dance & movie. I would recommend if you like the first one that started it.
