Saved By the Bell - The New Class: Season 1 (DVD, 2005, 2-Disc Set)

A continuation of the original SAVED BY THE BELL that began when the old cast got a little too old for high school, THE NEW CLASS bears a striking resemblance to their precursors. This was apparently a winning formula, as the series ran for seven seasons. Tommy "D," Megan, Lindsay, Weasel, Vicki and Scott have replaced Mickey, Lisa, Kelly, Screech, Karen, and Zach, and the gang roams the halls just as before, getting into trouble, having fun and first loves, and generally doing the things that high school kids do. In the first season, Scott disguises himself as his cousin to sneak into an all-girls sleepover; Weasel unexpectedly makes the football team; Megan's father tries to enroll her in a private school; and the Bayside students try their hand at running their hangout, the Max. Episodes include: "The Date Lottery," "The Slumber Party," "A Kicking Weasel," "Home Shopping," "Love Is on the Air," "George Washington Kissed Here," "Homecoming King," "Belding's Baby" "Good-Bye Megan," "Swap Meet," "Weasel Love," "Tommy A," and "Running the Max."
