Maximum Ride Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports is quite simply one of the greatest books I've ever read. It felt part book part action movie. I read the whole thing in one day, a hard to put down book. There's hardly a dull page. There's tons of plot twists and great literary elements. The story focuses on six half bird half human children. They were taken away from as children and had avian DNA grafted into them. Now they have superior to the average human and can fly. But they don't feel like a normal character in a book. Maximum Ride is written from their point of view. Others can make connections to them unlike most story characters. As a was saying, after being on the run from the scientists who want them dead Max realizes she must save the world from a corrupt super company, Itex. Itex plans to severely cut the worlds population and keep only those with necessary skills. Through many conflicts and tons of action the flock seems to succeed in their mission but there's a forth so it will leave you wanting more I assure you. I strongly recommend this book to anyone really, it's written by one of the world's most famous living authors, James Patterson. This exactly what need for you home library! Great book really.

Max and the gang are back with more action-packed adventure. A continuation of the series, this book can also stand alone. James Patterson is a masterful writer who knows how to keep you turning the pages. Like The Angel Experiment, Saving the World is fast-moving and engaging. Welcome to Max's world.

Maximum Ride

I love all of James Patterson's books. This series was a departure from his usual books. Once you read When the Winds blows and Lake House, you get your appetite going for more. On the science fiction side, when you give it some serious thought, you wonder maybe I will have descendants like these kids. The characters had a genuine feel which made the book seemed real. A departure from some of the graphic killings of his other books, it was a page turner and finished before you knew it. Can't believe it will be the last. I'm sure this wonderful gifted author can pull together one if not more books about Max and her little family. How about it
Mr.Patterson?

Max has alot to handle for being 14 Years old by Saving the World and trying to keep her flock together..In this book James Patterson has brought alot of the things he never finished in the other two books together...I'm not a good critic on his books because he's my favorite Author and if I could meet one person I chose him..
