Album Notes
Disciple: Brad Noah (guitars); Joey Fife (bass guitar); Kevin Young, Tim Barrett.Personnel: Kevin Young (vocals); Brad Noah (guitar); Tim Barrett (drums); Mike Dearing (percussion); Travis Wyrick (programming).Audio Mixer: Joe Barresi.Recording information: Lakeside Studios, Knoxville, TN.Photographer: Dave Hill .After a decade of self-produced indie efforts, Christian Metal quartet Disciple made their major-label debut in 2005. A year later, Kevin Young, Brad Noah, Joey Fife, and Tim Barrett returned with a heavier sound and more aggressive screamo-styled approach for the follow-up, SCARS REMAIN. As befitting a devout band, however, Disciple also shows a softer side on the acoustic ballads "No End At All" and "After the World."

This has it all for a hard rock CD. Chrunching guitars hammering drums and gut wrenching vocals on most of thr tracks - throw in a power ballad (for radio air play) and a try at rapcore and you have a great CD.

Disciple- Scars Remain

This cd is awsome. I really like all the Disciple cd's but this one is by far there best one. The reason I like it so much is that it has heavy and slower songs. Also I use to listen to Disturbed a lot and once I got into the Christian music I got rid of all my Cd's. The first song on this cd reminds me alot of the sound of Disturbed and that is why I bought it .

If you have not heard of the groups Pillar, Skillet, and Thousand foot krutch they are also very awsome heavy christian bands. Also Kutless, not as heavy but very awsome.

Was searching i-tunes for an artist I had used ' shazam ' to identify on my i-phone. After I had done that it gave me a list of related artist's and Disciple was one of them, so I had a listen to their sound. Turns out I bought it. Awesome sound, great CD. If you are like me ( don't believe in religion ) then don't mention to your friends that this is a christian band and they will never know. I listen to music for it's sound and not because of who or what the artist is, for example I don't endorse what Marilyn Manson does, but some of his messages and his sound is great, Adam Lambert is ( apparently ) gay - I'm not, but I like his music ! Hope this helps, the bottom line is for you to have a listen to Disciple if you like it you do, if you don't you don't.
Simple really!!!
