Movie synopsis
THE SCORPION KING 2 uncovers the origins of the 2002 summer blockbuster which starred Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Mathayus, the most fearsome desert warrior of the ancient world. Reaching deep into the past, this prequel begins with the king as a 13-year-old peasant boy (Michael Copon) who witnesses the kidnapping and death of his father at the hands of the terrifying Sargon (played by towering UFC Heavyweight Randy Couture). Thirsty for vengeance, young Mathayus trains at the Order of the Black Scorpion to sharpen his skills as a killing machine, then journeys to the underworld to retrieve the one sword that can help him defeat Sargon. When the burgeoning Scorpion King finally comes to blows with his murderous rival, the fate of the entire human race hangs in the balance.

) This is a bad movie, there is no way around it. But the movie knows its bad, I mean it has Randy Couture as an ACTOR! I like this movie, only b/c its so horrible and knows it. The only positive thing this movie has going for it is Karen David as the hotttt lead woman, Layla. I mean she is really hot and is wearing nearly nothing in the whole movie. The film is ripe with historical inaccuracies and massive plot holes, but if you enjoy entertaining horrible films this is the one for you! I enjoy watching it (much to the confusion of others who have seen it with me) I cannot wait until the Scorpion King 3 comes out........and yes, they are making a 3rd one! :D

this is a great sequal to a blockbuster movie. there is a lot of action from beginning to end. this movie is about the rise of the scorpion king that made the rock famous in his last role. there is nothing to dislike about this movie. had to get this movie because of the action and a fan of the original and the mummy series. this is a must pickup movie of the summer. if you like action and adventure this is the movie to get. as well my nephew enjoyed the movie and he is hard to please. if you love action this movie is for you.

) It was jus a wack movie not better than the first one...The King was a horrible actor.. The movie jus was pretty lame...No real action same ol fighting style n etc. They could of done much better with abit of more action n drama and suspense...two dumbs down

In my opinion this is a good movie. Full of action and adventure. Its a decent prequel for the Scorpion King and the Mommy Returns. Its an alright movie.

Movie came, and went. And was far too long for it's own good (109 minutes). Film sludges along and feels like it's half-baked and not quite finished. I can't say I can recomend it, and I certainly can't say I will ever watch my DVD again. Oh, and the fight scenes, yeah...not happening. Poorly shot, too quick, and heavy use of wires. Even Randy Couture can't save the fights because he HARDLY throws a punch in this movie, and he surely, has one tone of voice. Avoid this puppy.
