After reading this book I was still left with general knowledge about coins. In the back of the book the author Scott Travers invites readers to phone him about some of the coins that they have discovered since reading his book. I had a question about a coin I had come across and remembered Mr. Travers invitation to call and talk about coins. I did not want to take up too much of his time I just wanted to ask a simple question about a coin minted in a specific year. When I dialed the number offered by the author a man answered the phone. I asked if I was speaking directly with Scott Travers and told the man about the offer to phone the author in the back of the book. The man would not tell me if he was Scott Travers or not. His tone was not friendly at all either.I told this very rude man who I beleive was Mr. Travers that I had a question and was hoping that he could help me with it. I am sure that my question could have been answered by a coin expert in less than 30 seconds. This man kept repeating to me that he was busy and if I didnt spit out what I had to say he would hang up on me. I only told this person that I read the book and had learned a lot about coins from the author but that I just had one question that I wanted to ask. I probably asked twice if I was speaking with Mr. Travers so that I knew I was speaking to the person who extended the invitation to call him in the back of his book. Again this man would not say who he was. I started to ask him my question when he then interupted me and said that he only discusses coins that have been graded. He then hung up on me. My question had nothing to do with coin grading. This entire "conversation" lasted about 30 seconds, the time it most likely would have took for my question to be answered. The person who answered the phone was so rude and non helpful that I do not recomend purchasing any books that make you beleive you can call for information when you need to know something such as the book I purchased by the author Scott Travers.

Great book. Even a good read in 2012. I enjoyed each chapter. Scott is good at explaining the facts and history about the coins.

However I would have liked it more if he had commented more about the lower grade coins.
