Seagate External Desktop 1.5 TB,External,7200 RPM (ST315005EXA101-RK) Hard Drive

i brought this external drive to back up my desktop pcs and it works very well it took me about thirty minutes to back up my first pc which has a lot of pics & music ,videos on it a lot faster then backing up to dvds . on the other pc it took about fourty minutes a lot more items on it . the drive is plug & play i have vista & seven and there was no conflicts. the only thing is set the pcs to back up to the external drive on different days that way you will not get a drive back up error as in if you do not have the drive hooked up to your other pc for the back up . or buy two of these to save the pain of rembering to plug the usb in the pc the day it backs up . there is no on or off switch on the external drive though when you do shut down your pc it will turn off seconds after your pc drive does. and when you power up it comes right back on it does come with a two year warranty . which is not to bad whch the price i paid for it was one hundred & thirty dollars if you divide it by twentyfour months it,s not a bad deal at all.

I bought this item to give me extra space to store things from my computer. Great Item, however it makes a lot of noise. I have to unplug it from the wall when I want to go to sleep, as the product is in my room. Good Size, wish it was a little smaller though. Overall, good item for price I paid.

I had no problems. Plug it in and go. No downloading software to use it. Now my photos are safe. Just had to click and drag.

its an external hard drive. it does what it says. works fine so far. ive only had it for 3 days though
