The Secret by Rhonda Byrne (2006, Unabridged, Compact Disc)

The Secret is an extraordinary collection of insights into the magnificent power within all of us. I had read many books about positive thinking, in my younger years, and then got off track along the way losing sight of this truth within us all that definitely sets us free from the bondage of destructive thinking that lurks within us. At least it gives us all a choice that is very empowering indeed. I have utilized a part of this truth in classes that I facilitate on success in job seeking believing that interpersonal skills do play an important role in job retention as well as success in our personal lives. But, success with interpersonal skills can only be realized after a healthy acceptance of ourselves and the realization of the power, freedom, and control we all can have over our own destinies through the way we think and use our feelings to attract those expereinces we want into our lives using the law of attraction to our advantage. The empowerment and freedom that can be experienced from The Secret is in my opinion remarkable and life changing. The broad mixture of Talent in The Secret is a great list of resources to gain additional growth and knowledge from different perspectives. I believe that Rhonda Byrne has successfully completed her goal of adding value to the masses of the world by giving everyone the opportunity to learn about The Secret and the tresures within. I'm grateful! Thank You for reminding me that I am receiving Love and Joy for my entire existence if I so desire it and make it my intention, it will be so.....

I watched a preview of,The Secret on the OPRAH show.bought the book enjoyed it so I bought the audio book of the secret by Rhonda Byrne.and then the DVD. My thought at this time is. The book is an excellent self help book, With some very knowledgeable teachers/authors,I try to listen and practice the lessons i've learned everyday and am enjoying it.

I have both the DVD and the CDs....not the book as Ive heard the book is just the SOS. I highly recommend the CDs and I HIGHLY recomend listening to them-or at least part of them every day for it to be most effective. The whole idea behind The Secret is that YOUR THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS WILL CREATE YOU LIFE-and THE LAW OF ATTRACTION. Can't argue that one! Being a purveyor of many self help books and ideas I have to say this is one of the best in a long time-Move over Dr. Phil LOL. Its simple, its clean, its too the point and IT WORKS. Ive been applying it since day one and can testify personally THAT IT WORKS (and I can be quite the negative/what if thinker) I have since gotten a brand new vehicle when I didnt think I could get the one I wanted. Ive received lots of unexpected money-I mean its just come in the mail or fallen out of the sky kinda stuff. Ive attracted some great dates. Ive lost weight. And I could go ON and ON and ON. And its FUN! This can be used by high school drop outs and PHds-no long haired stuff-just TO THE POINT all the way thru. In short, by using THE SECRET- THOUGHTS BECOME THINGS. Great work for anyone who is a negative thinker, or those suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD or any mild neurosis or life crises or disability. NOT recommended for anyone with serious delusional mental illness as I dare say this could be quite damaging to them. As a person who helps other people as well I can say that this is a VERY USEFUL tool for both myself and to share, and is an enjoyable process to use AND IT WORKS-if you want it to work! ;)

One day at work a girl spilled a huge cup of cofee on herself. Another person spilled creamer all over the counter & floor. Each time I told them to not let that experience shape their day and to think positive and keep a smile on their face. A girl turned to me & asked if I knew the Secret. I hadn't ever heard of it. She explained that my attitude was demonstrating the Secret and more people should think positive, so positive things would happen to them. She told me very little about the Secret, just that I needed to have an open mind. The following day she brouhgt me her DVD to borrow for the weekend. She said to please remember it because she had to have it Monday and wanted to make it a habit to listen to it several times per week, until she had a full understanding. I watched it that night with my fiance. We both were moved at the thought of the Secret and believe that it can all come to us through our thoughts. Since then I've bought the DVD for myself, plus the 4 CD audio book, which is awesome. I've lent them to several people, some of whom I never would have thought they would react in such a positive way. "Good Stuff" is what my previous boss said. She's currently listening to the CD's on her almost 1 hour drive to & from work. It's positive, motivating, up;ifting, & self-empowering - which is what everyone needs. This is a fantastic way to live your life. Thought become things!
