) This is one book in a long series written by Nora Roberts under her pen name JD Robb. Called the "In Death" series, the stories take place starting in the year 2058 and move progressively through the years. Lt. Eve Dallas, a homicide cop in NYC takes on baffling, high profile cases and not without harm to herself and loved ones. As you read the series the personal lives of Eve, Roarke, Marvis, and many others unfold in well written stories. Sometimes referring back to other cases (in other books) leaves the reader wandering but each book can stand on its own. Throw in modern technology, people and business being on and off planet, and a good dose of mind blowing sex and romance, and you have a book you just can't put down. Love you to Death! really takes on a new meaning in Seduction by Death. Can you figure out who the murder or murders are and why?

The JD Robb (Nora Roberts) 'In Death' series is a futuristic take on romantic murder/mystery. I love the entire JD Robb (Nora Roberts) 'In Death' series. I love the characters; their interactions, the futuristic view and the murder mystery. This series is an on-going story from book to book. I love that. It's still Nora Roberts at her best; just another side of her writing creativity.

) LOVE THE J.D. ROBB "IN DEATH" SERIES; THIS BOOK WAS PURCHASED TO COMPLETE MY COLLECTION OF THE OLDER TITLES THAT I HAVE NOT READ. I HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THE BOOK SERIES AND PLAN TO CONTINUE PURCHASING THE REMAINING TITLES THAT I DO NOT OWN AND/OR HAVE NOT READ. THE ONLY THING I DO NOT UNDERSTAND IS WHY NORA ROBERTS THINKS ADDING "G--DAMN" OVER AND OVER IN THE CONVERSATION ENHANCES THE STORY.

Another book for my wife. She is collecting the entire Death series by Nora Roberts. She really likes the story line to the series.

Wonderful read! You don't want to put it down the book until you find out "who done it". It is well worth your while to read the whole series. The author fills in enough blanks to make it very easy to follow so if you don't read them in order, you can still follow all the different relationships ie. Eve and Roarke, Eve and Peabody etc.
