Finally a down to earth book that translates the Book of Creation. This text is believed to have been written in pre-Talmudic times, ie over 2000 years old and purports to explain how God (ie the Jewish understanding of God) created the world using the letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
It's influence is to be found in all Kabbalistic literature and is a must read for anyone interested in this topic, madonna included! Highly recommended.
PS The translator of this volume was an expert in Kabala as well as a Whose Who in Physics who gave up a promising career to devote himself in disseminating knowledge of Judaism to the unlearned masses. Just see his interviews on youtube by searching ARYEH KAPLAN. may his memory be for a blessing.
