    eBay Sourcing Strategies that work

This book is well written and full of useful information. If you are thinking of selling on eBay and still do not have a product source, you should read this book. Actually, unless you are already an expert at product sourcing this book will benefit your eBay business. Chris Malta and Lisa Suttora do an effective job of presenting strategies for finding and approaching real wholesale sources. This book provides you a basic roadmap for getting in touch with wholesale suppliers who can sell you the merchandise that you are looking for. Personally, I especially liked chapter 3 - The Product Sourcing Notebook. One of the ideas that the authors discuss in the book is that product sourcing is not a 9 to 5 job. You should always be looking for new sources. This book will help you find those sources.

The book is very educational for the 'newbies' to eBay and online selling in general. To grow a business one needs to get a product line and suppliers. Chris and Lisa go into detail on how to handle this aspect of your business.
All areas of finding a product line and where and how to find suppliers are covered and easy to understand the presentation is intuitive. The time saved in reading this book, rather than experimenting on your own, is extremely valuable. Thank you Chris and Lisa for this book. I recommend it highly.

Worth reading if you are thinking of selling online.

This book is very well written by the CEO of Worldwide Brands. It has some very useful information although it will not solve all of your problems with getting reasonably priced products to sell on eBay. I recommend reading the book to get the basics and as a starting point to generate your own ideas of what to sell and how to get suppliers. Like most of the books in this category it provides some valuable information and a lot of information your probably already know. If you can get the book at a good discount it is worth reading.

What to sell on ebay and where to get it by CHris Malta

    Created: 08/01/10
I like this book mainly because it was written by an author that has been involved directly with Ebay and is well known for his books and ebooks. I costantly try to improve my online sales knowledge and fell all books by Chris Malta, or at least involve him, are excellent. I actually began to read this book after borrowing it from the local library. I was so impressed by the writing style and simple breakdowns that I went on and bought it to own. Very reader friendly and well explained mehtods to asist even the first time Ebayer. This book also serves as a very good reference, this is why I HAD to have it in my personal library. I was prepared to pay face value if needed, but luckily there were some listed on Ebay for less. To be honest, I have yet to find anything worth complaining about. I love it!

Great Place to Start If You're New to Sourcing.

I picked up this book recently in hopes to broaden my knowledge on product sourcing. I sure wish I had read this book a few years ago. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or just starting out, this book is a valuable reference to where to look for products to sell. I have wasted a lot of time and energy in the past with traditional methods (ie: search engines and the yellow pages) when sourcing products. This book really narrowed down my search and helped me focus better on what I wanted to accomplish on Ebay. I recommend this to Ebayers of all levels as there seems to be something for everyone in this book.
