) I discovered Sandra Lee and her Semi-Homemade series on the Food Network. If you love the taste and eye-catching appeal of a beautiful dessert that is quickly prepared, then this book is for you! As the recipes don't start from scratch, but from mixes, etc. the prep time is practically eliminated. The recipes are delicious to eat, and will impress even your fussiest friends!! As a working mother, I highly recommend Semi-Homemade Desserts to keep your table beautiful, and your life easier.

This is not one of Sandra's better Semi-Homemade Cookbooks. It has a number of artist's recipes. This cookbook has a number of good recipes but I did not find it quite as good as the majority of her cookbooks. There were fewer recipes but more large full page pictures and less of her truly semi-homeade recipes. This cookbook is more like a cook magazine!

I haven't made a lot of these recipe's as the ones I've made are requested by the family over and over because they are so good!
