Sesame Street's 25th Birthday: A Musical Celebration (DVD, 1997)

I have been looking for this dvd for years. I bought it on VHS when my daughter was a baby back in 1994 when it first came out. My best friend and I had so much fun singing along with it and entertaining my daughter with the songs even if it wasn't even playing. Well now my best friend just had a baby recently and still to this day we talk about the Sesame Street's 25th birthday music celebration and how much we loved it and want to see it again, and so my hunt was on to find it. I've been in every movie/dvd/video store looking for it, only to be unsuccessful. Well, I finally found it on Ebay and was so excited about it, I purchased it and sent it to my best friend, when she received it she was sooo happy I found it. Now me, my daughter, and her all get to sing along for her little girl. It brings me great joy. :)

For a childrens dvd this one is a good one. Although a bit outdated now the songs are cute and not annoying like so many on TV these days. They keep kids entertained for hours and yet arent too horrible for babysitters or parents to watch either! If you or your kid is a seasame street fan you should purchase this DVD.

Sesame Street DVD's always entertain the little ones. My granddaughter loves dancing to the music and watching the characters perform. Definitely, would recommend.

Sesame Street has entertained and taught children for years. I remember growing up with Sesame Street and am happy to continue the tradition of entertaining and educating my children with Sesame Street. This particular DVD is a wonderful collection of songs and dances- the music helps entertain younger children as well as the preschoolers Sesame Street is typically geared towards. All 3 of my children love the show. As a parent and educator, I appreciate the use of music and dance to facilitate growth and development in young children.

When my baby started paying attention to Sesame Street, I thought that I could get this dvd and have it on hand whenever John Paul got squirmy.
Perfect! I put it on the laptop at his eye level and it keeps his attention while he's playing with other toys. Gives me a little break!
