Share the New Life with a Jew by Moishe Rosen and Ceil Rosen (1976, Book)

The author, Moish, a former used car salesman found jesus and then went on to become a successful salesman pitching christianity to other ignorant jews. This is his and his wifes story how to missionise to jews by using jewish phrases and slang to make the ignorant and unsuspecting target believe that you are out to help him/her when all you are trying to do is to make him worship a man god, ie idolatry. Rosen, the founder of the jews for jesus cult has simply subtituted one form of salesmanship for the other. Unfortunately, the lemons he has sold to unwary jews will not bring them into the kingdom of Heaven.

The following is a critical review which I found on the Jews for Judaism website. Jews for Judaism is the nemesis of Rosen and company and if anyone wants to know the truth of Christianity AND Judaism is urged to contact them.


Anxious to convert Jews, missionary-minded Christians often resort to gimmicks. Although these missionary activities are not directed at any one segment of the Jewish people, efforts are most successful when directed toward people undergoing a severe trauma in their lives. Such individuals are extremely vulnerable and in need of psychological support. This vulnerability suits the missionary intent to exert a subtle authoritarian leadership in the one-on-one relationship. Significantly, the mechanism for effective missionary work relies heavily on condescension masquerading as compassion; missionaries give the appearance of bestowing loving attention on the targeted individual. The goal is to evoke emotional responses in the potential convert that can be described as Christian religious experiences. Although the approach varies to suit the individual case, everything is done within the context of a carefully orchestrated interaction.

Moishe and Ceil Rosen's instruction manual in the art of missionary gimmickry introduces like minded Christian laymen to the nuances of missionary argot and methods of establishing interpersonal relationships which have conversion as their goal. Providing a step-by-step approach, they have organized the effort methodically, in order to facilitate the slow-going one-on-one missionary work that affects Jewish people. The emphasis placed on the use of missionary language techniques and the attitudes needed to lull Jewish subjects marked for conversion into a false sense of spiritual complacency are indicative of the Rosen method of operation. By design, misleading, euphemistic terminology, and falsehood are key ingredients of their presentation. Subtle deception and imposture become laudable attributes.

Lessons in deceptive synonymy begin even before one opens the book. The title, Share the New Life With a Jew, is a cunning phrase used to avoid the term conversion. The title could just as well read, Methods of Converting a Jew to Christianity. Biographical information found on the back cover falsifies the childhood background of co-author Martin Meyer Rosen, who conducts his missionary business under the name "Moishe" Rosen.1 It is claimed that "He grew up in an orthodox Jewish home."2 This is contrary to what Rosen wrote in an earlier work: "My mother's parents, Reform Jews from Austria, immigrated to this country. . . . My father's father . . . was an Orthodox believer. . . ."3 "My father was not very religious. . . . Though my father attended synagogue, he often told us, 'Religion is a racket.'"....
