Sharp Sidekick LX 2009 - Black (T-Mobile) Smartphone

Phone looks and sounds great. However, T-Mobile NO longer offers the data service for this sidekick model. This is an older 3G and they offer the 4G service for the new sidekicks ONLY...

Wonderful phone! Easy to use! This phone came unlocked so i use it with at&t service. I bought this phone cuz i don't do well with touch screen and i wanted something a little different than my friends. All my friends Love my phone!

So far so good. For what i am using it for it is a great device. If you enjoy a smartphone with a keyboard and don't really mind the 3g internet this is the phone for you. It is really comfortable to use and i enjoy all the little features it has

T-Mobile's Sidekicks have been cult favorites stretching all the way back to the original grayscale model -- a device with a design only a mother could love, may we add -- when it launched nearly seven years ago. Though the unusual form factor with the addictive spring-loaded pivoting swivel has largely prevented it from attracting a mainstream audience, the countless teens and twenty-somethings who've latched on to the Hiptop ecosystem have cited many of the same reasons for loving it since day one: an easy, foolproof UI, push email, high-quality customizability, decent web browsing capabilities, and a stellar messaging-optimized layout (remember that QWERTY was little more than a twinkle in most manufacturers' eyes back in 2002).

Really superb device. My friend got it and used it for about 3 months, and I decided to get one as well as I was in the market for a new phone. I played Bob's Journey and Solitaire, all of that, even used it for agenda, texting and phone of course. It kept battery in a good level too. I was amazed just at how good the device worked. I had to get a different network because service lacked in my area, otherwise I would've kept this because of all of the great features it offered.
