In this Sega Saturn video game, you play Arthur, who along with Melody and Forte is hired by the King of Enrich, to capture Rodi, the renegade ninja. As they enter the desire mines, due to a craft crash, everyone is injured and inhabited by spirits. Forte, however is inhabited by and evil spirit. In this role-playing video game, you now have to fight Forte to stop the renewal of the 1,000 year kingdom to prevent the world from turning into an age of darkness. With a unique 'pixie' system, in this Sega Saturn video game, you can befriend pixies to fight the enemies in the dungeons and towns you explore. Fight your enemies in the turn based format of the game and make easy progress. Get into feel of being on the battlefield with the 3D imaging of the Shining The Holy Ark game. | |

) Shining the Holy Ark marked the return of the Shining series to its original style of gameplay: Dungeon Crawling. If you've ever played Shining in the Darkness, then this is a must have game. While it may not have the same epic feel as the numbered Shining games, Shining the Holy Ark is easily one of the best 3D dungeon crawling games out there with addictive gameplay thanks to a very well made battle system, memorable music and just generally fun atmosphere. For myself, Shining the Holy Ark definitely rates up there with Phantasy Star and Shining in the Darkness, surpassing them in some rights as well. If you own a Sega Saturn, have every played a Shining game, or enjoy dungeon crawlers, this is a no-brainer. Definitely worth it.

There's nothing in Shining the Holy Ark that RPG fans haven't seen in one form or another before, but it does put them all together nicely. If you're looking for a great way to waste some hours (this game is long), this is definitely a game that you should pick up.

) I am more of a traditional 16 bit gamer, but I picked this game up recently and it is really a good play. I would recommend it to most people even if like me, they didn't care much for RPG games. This one is a gem for the Sega Saturn.

this epic game will blow you away with stunning graphics for the sega saturn. Play as Arthur the knight and his friends in an epic battle for peace! Only on SEGA saturn!!
