| Activision knows gamers loved the movie SHREK and that gamers love melee battle games, so they've combined the two into SHREK SUPERSLAM for the Nintendo DS. Now players can battle against others via wireless connection or take on the story mode by themselves. SHREK SUPERSLAM features 20 characters from SHREK and SHREK II, including Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Puss-n-Boots, the Gingerbread man, and more. They will battle it out in 16 different levels, each of which is inspired by scenes from the movies and is fully interactive. Each character has a basic light and heavy attack plus throws and a unique slam attack that they can use once they build up enough power by hitting their foes. Each character also has specific strengths and weaknesses that will impact how players battle with them. Players can also grab weapons that appear on each level and use them against their opponents. There are a number of different modes in the game, including the single-player story mode, tutorial mode, multiplayer mode, and the mega challenge mode. Story mode allows players to unlock more characters, stages, and alternate outfits for the fighters. Challenge mode presents players with a challenge a race, a number of items to collect, etc that they must accomplish before their opponents do. More special characters and unlockable items are available for players who complete each minigame. Fighting gamers will find that SHREK SUPERSLAM keeps all of the wicked humor and one-liners from the movies while creating an entertaining, addicting melee game. | |

Wrestling game for a young child, this is it!

) I bought this game for my 10 year old son. You can be any of the Shrek characters from the movie, and you have to wrestle all of the other characters to win. Each character has their own signature move. It is a cool game, It doesn't have any of the gore so to speak, of other wrestling games. So, if you have a young child who is into wrestling, this is the game for them. Both my son and I were able to beat the game on the first try in story mode. He has played the other modes offered on the game(there are a few)and said it was easy also, but not as easy to beat. So there are different levels of play for children of different ages. I haven't played video games in years, If I was able to beat 1 mode anybody can!

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

WOW! You gotta love this game. You can't beat these great DS games. This game is great for people of all ages.....from 8 to 80! I would highly recommend it to anyone.......The best of all, it's one of the cheaper DS games out there! WooooHooooo!
