Standard version with booklet. The band was formed in 1996 by guitarist Robert Westerholt and singer Sharon den Adel. Their single "Ice Queen" reached the number 1 position in may charts, both in The Netherlands and in Belgium in 2002. Their 'Mother Earth' full length went Platinum in the Netherlands and the Gold status in Belgium. Fans of Nightwish, Lacuna Coil 7 Evanescence will like this band.

Within Temptation is a project headed by singer Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt. SILENT FORCE contains the songs "See Who I Am" and "Angels," among others, as well as the video for "Stand My Ground."Available in the U.S. for the first time in 2008, Dutch symphonic rock heroes Within Temptation's 2004 epic, THE SILENT FORCE, continued the band's incomparable blend of classical, New Age, opera, and heavy metal music. In addition, the latter-day prog rockers' fourth studio release topped the charts all over Europe and scored two major singles ("Stand My Ground" and "Memories").
