    I decided to buy this because by daughters teacher recommended that we start rebus reading to help her learn to read. This book worked well. My daughter quickly learned the words. We started out reading the words and she had to read the "pictures". Later she could read all of it as she had memorized the words. It made her feel like a big girl to be able to read and makes her intrested in other books too!
