I have learned so much , by using this book in my earlier years.
A Great Book by all standards, for the Intermediate to the more than avid Gem and Mineral Collector.
Containing Technical Information as well as Good Descriptions , and a bounty of Details that are useful , and informative.
The information contained in this reference book is Easily layed out for quick look up..
I especially like the Photos , which often show a gemstone in its Natural State , as well as in its Finished CUT State.
Great Chapters on Synthetics and Artificial Gems as well as a Chapter on Organic Gems ( Pearls , Coral, etc. ).
Again , this is a MUST HAVE book , if you are se4rious about gemstones..
I give it a 100 % Rating , since the Information is Thorough and Complete..
