Another fantastic season...

Ah!The Simpsons, that wonderfull show full of delightfull characters we came to know so well.Season nine is another great season for the yellow familly with hilarious and classic episodes like "The City Of New York vs.Homer Simpson" and "Das Bus".The theory of the single digit Simpsons seasons being better than the latter seasons 10+ makes sense to me yet,i don`t hate the other seasons they certainly are respectable.
The episodes included in this set are:
1. The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson
2. The Principal and the Pauper
3. Lisa's Sax
4. Treehouse of Horror VIII
5. The Cartridge Family
6. Bart Star
7. The Two Mrs. Nahasapeemapetilons
8. Lisa the Skeptic
9. Realty Bites
10. Miracle on Evergreen Terrace
11. All Singing, All Dancing
12. Bart Carny
13. The Joy of Sect
14. Das Bus
15. The Last Temptation of Krust
16. Dumbbell Indemnity
17. Lisa the Simpson
18. This Little Wiggy
19. Simpson Tide
20. The Trouble with Trillions
21. Girly Edition
22. Trash of the Titans

Excellent DVD set for Simpsons Fans - lots of EXTRAS!
Created: 30/04/07
I have been a Simpsons fan since the first episode aired - Yikes - almost 20 years ago! But I won't go on and on about the series, the characters or even the episodes from this season, cuz...if you're reading this...the chances are that you're already a Simpsons fan and you already know all about it.
What I WILL tell you here is about THE SIMPSONS, SEASON NINE ON DVD. For one thing, I was impressed with the cover art and the design of the DVDs themselves. They were so...cool; put me in mind of 60's California posters and jazz holes (every DVD has a differently designed artwork on it)
What I also liked was that they printed the names of the episodes that were included in each DVD ON the DVD itself. Wow! That made it a lot easier for me to know what episode I was looking for and what disk it was on. I really liked that.
Another thing I really liked was that each DVD had a funny animated episode guide menu. Something a bit amusing to look at while you decided which episode to watch first.
The episode menu screen was easy to use, and gave you a choice of either just watching the episode as-is, OR going into the "extras" section, which may include an audio commentary, delated scenes or other goodies appreciated by die-hard fans.
In my opinion, Season 9 was one of the last overall "good" seasons of the Simpsons...and it was also one of the best designed DVD sets of the Simpsons so far.
Excellent entertainment value for any fan...whether casual or hard-core.
The makers of these DVDs really took the fans into consideration when making this set.

This has some of the Simpsons' funniest episodes to date, including "The City Of New York Vs. Homer Simpson", the episode that involves a pilgrimage to Manhattan, an episode that has been rarely aired on network TV in the aftermath of 9/11. It also includes another favorite, "The Cartridge Family", in which Homer buys a gun and joins the NRA. These are just two of the episodes in this collection, all of which are enjoyable.

IT'S THE SIMPSONS EARLY YEARS!!
Created: 11/02/11
THIS MAKES MY 9TH SEASON OF THE SIMPSONS. THESE EARLY YEAR EPISODES ARE THE BEST IN MY OPINION.BUT WHAT DO I KNOW? I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THIS SHOW SINCE IT STARTED BACK IN THE MID 80'S. THIS SHOW ACTUALLY STARTED ON THE TRACY ULLMEN SHOW AS A BIT PART (UNDER 2 MIN.S) BUT WAS EXTREAMLY FUNNY. WE WATCHED THE ULLMAN SHOW JUST TO SEE THE BIT PARTS OF HOMER AND BART!FUNNY STUFF FROM MATT GROING
