The Sims 2: University (PC, 2005)

I love the Sims2 so this was just another opportunity to get my sims out of the house. I love the fact that they turn into young adults when they go to college. I like all of the fun new outfits and furniture. The fact that I cant move a sim into the same dorm as one of my roommates sims without having to play both sims is frustrating. I just have to make sure that all my sims are in dorms together and try not to mix things up too much. This expansion pack is cool also because your college sim can invite their family and friends from "home" to come to their cool college town to visit and go out. It also seems like the young adult sim learns things faster in college and doesnt lose so much from their fun meter while studying, which is GREAT!

The Sims 2 University- the teens in your family get to go to college. They grow into young adults and start the college experience. Pick the place you want to live (dorm, greek house, apartment) and meet loads of college students from all different walks of life. There is ALWAYS something to do or somewhere to go. This expansion pack is a great new experience for sims players who have thought they've seen it all. Really fun...

Well this game is a must for any Sims 2 player. It is like you get another world to play in. I am still learning new things and I have had this game for over 2 weeks now. I waited because I wasn't sure if I wanted or needed it. I am glad now I have it. It is too much fun. You can create sims to send to college or send your already created sims to college. Funny thing is they barely go to classes. I think my sims are in class 2 hours a day. Not like the real thing. But it is ok. I am having fun with it. So if you are a Sims 2 fan - get this expansion pack. Most definetly!

This is a really fun expansion pack, that adds lots of great historical architectural items and antique furniture to the game inventory. Its fun to send the teenage sims to college and let them party away or make them total nerds. In addition, the zombie sim is added in this expansion pack.

All in all its one of the best expansion packs. You won't get bored quickly with this one.

There are pros and cons to this expansion, but I would say the good definitely outweighs the bad. With the Sims 2 University, there is no another age level to the lives of Sims. Living in dorms is fun, and so is joining secret societies, and sororities. This game also unlocks new career paths which your Sim can explore. The new clothes and items are good, and may be reason enough to get this game. The only problem I have with this expansion pack is that you give them the clothes you want them to wear (obviously)… but when they graduate, and go from young adult to adult… the game chooses the clothes and look your Sim will have. Now I know this can be changed, but it so inconvenient to go shopping for clothes, as most times you will have to buy them a whole new wardrobe, from bathing suits to formal wear. All in all this is a good expansion though. There are many different scenarios you Sims can live out, and a lot of different lifestyles you could choose for them to explore. Would definitely recommend.
