Fun, but not as fun as the PC Version

    Created: 05/04/07
I'm a Sims fanatic so I HAD to have Sims 2 for XBox so I could play. I'm kind of disappointed with it, being very familiar with the PC version. I think from my perspective, I prefer the PC version because of the differences, versus liking the gaming system version because of the "new features". I do like the cooking feature on the console versions, the ability to "create recipes" is a really cool feature and I like the direct control, still a little too slow moving for my taste and I don't like the fact that time won't go at "warp speed" while your character is gone if you have a roommate. It automatically puts you in control of the roommate when your character goes to work. Overall it's still good plain Sims fun, but as for me, I'll stick with my PC 90 percent of the time!

Not like the PC version at all!

    Created: 29/07/08
I got this game expecting an atleast halfway decent translation from the version on PC / MAC, but it isn't.

This game is just the hollow shell of the PC version with horrible interfaces & incredibly limited options compared to the original.

Will be putting this game right back on eBay after less than an hour of game-play.

    Very Fun Game

    Created: 11/03/10
Identical to the pc version, but with added features. Sometimes I experience annoying things such as my Sim standing still for no reason when I want to perform a task. Nothing that ruins the game play though. Worth buying.

The Sims 2 (Xbox) - rated TEEN.

    Created: 27/12/06
I just found out about The Sims D.I.Y. movie making culture from YouTube (check out Bathroom Etiquette). I was instantly enthralled by the creativity and bought a copy from a fellow eBayer for a great price. Boy, was I in for a surprise.
I don't consider showering, washing the dishes, looking for a job or taking a crap to be very fun. I certainly don't want to play a simulation of those tasks either. There are some good moments, but I would rather go outside the house and find a real flesh girlfriend. I ended up killing my first Sim due to hunger.
There is a story mode and a free-play mode to do as you please. You can design your home, find a dream job and even get married. There are plenty of thing to do, (yawn) I just don't have the patience.
I never did make my own movie. I was just too darn bored.

    The Sims 2 Review (XBox)

    Created: 26/06/09
If you like the Sims games, you are going to love the Sims 2. The story mode is fun (especially co-op with a friend). There is so many fun things to do it never gets old. Also, you can play Free Play mode, where you make a family and move into your dream house. I love to play this game with my friends and have been doing so for years. The Sims 2 is a must buy for The Sims fans. I heard it is even funner on the computer, but I have not tried it.
