The Sims 3: Ambitions (Expansion Pack) (PC, 2010)

This is a pretty good expansion. It adds so much to the gameplay. The only problem I have so far is that if you have two or three people with one of these fully interactive jobs, it can get difficult to juggle all of them while getting the best results. On the contrary, you can get promotions in these fields super-fast if you play it right. I have a firefighter character that climbed from rank 1 to rank 6 in less than a week. That doesn't happen in other jobs. That's kind of an up as well as a down, since it feels like you're progressing too fast sometimes.
Another thing they added is the fact that you can register as self-employed if you paint, write, invent, or sculpt for a living. This is kinda cool but, aside from the fact that you get promotions for earning certain amounts of money (which can lead to positive moodlets for certain traits), it doesn't seem to benefit at all.
I know it seems like I'm giving so much negative feedback on this game, but really it's fun. I really like the laundry thing that comes with it. You can choose to do or not do laundry, but if you do, you get positive moodlets just from changing into clean clothes and sleeping in clean sheets, which is nice at the beginning of the game, when all of your stuff is cheap merchandise.
Aside from these things I decided to write about, there are so many other cool things about this expansion pack, many of which I haven't explored. In summary, it adds a lot of cool stuff to the game, but there are some slight downsides to it as well.
One thing I did notice is that the game kinda messes up on my computer since installing the update. It's probably just my weird computer though, and it's nothing to freak out about.

This expansion pack takes the game to a whole new level! Love that when I enter a career from the Ambitions expansion, my SIM doesn't just disappear for work each day, but that I can control what they do and how they do it! I am currently in the interior designer feild and get to build/decorate/remodel other SIMS homes with their money. Loads of fun!

I like this game because it allows sims to expand their lives and makes gameplay more interesting. I really don't have any cons. All pros:)

Good game, perfect condition and nothing wrong with it.
I love the gameplay and all the new stuff you can do on it, and some extra clothes and accessories that it has. There was nothing i disliked about the game, overall a great title.
i decided to buy it because i love the sims and i wanted the extension pack.

A great addition to any Sims 3 collection! The only downfall is that you need the Sims 3 World Adventures to utilize all the features. Fun and challenging, Ambitions adds several occupations, many more homes and home building choices (it is another whole town), and a few extra clothing/hair choices. Allows the player to control their sim while the sim's at work unlike past Sims games. Seems to be one of the most fun and fully packed expansions for Sims 3.
