    PS2- The sims

This is a very easy game to play if you are interested in simulation games. You can choose to "Get a life" and pick make your very own character. In this part of the game, you progress throughout your character's life, trying to make them a better Sim. You teach them skills, get them a job, a better home, better material possesions... etc. You have to do all of this, while trying to keep your Sim in a good mood (that is the challenge). There is also this other section in which you "Make a Neighborhood". In this portion of the game you must maintain the lives of a whole family in the household, and may switch from one family to the next in the whole neighborhood. This part can be a little more difficult. So in conclusion, if you are thinking of trying a good simulation game... This would be a very good choice... and the best part? The game never ends!

    Nice pastime.

    Created: 09/02/11
I used to play this game when I was a teen, and now that my oldest daughter is 8 yrs old, I wanted to share the experience with her. I still find it enjoyable and she and I have a new way to bond without exhausting me or giving her any bad habits. We spend an hour on this game after her homework is done and her baby sister goes down for a nap and she tells me about her day as we design houses, create characters from people in our lives, and make silly things happen as we pretend these people on the game are the people in real life. She told me yesterday to "make Daddy run on the treadmill and study mechanical, cause he's fat and always breaks stuff." Last week she said Daddy needs to get a job and I need to stay home and have a party.
The game I bought seemed almost new despite being only the disc.

    It's A Sim's Life For Me

    Created: 08/07/08
This is one of the most unique games I have ever played.

"The Sims" is a life simulator that lets you control the lives of your created Sims. You control everything - jobs, romance, friendships, even teaching your Sims basic life functions such as how to cook and clean. You can also build your own house from scratch!

As good as this game is, I do have a few problems with it. The graphics, when compared to the original "The Sims" for the PC, aren't that great, and after playing for awhile, the gameplay can get boring and repetative rather quickly. The 2-Player mode is a great addition, but even that becomes boring after awhile. Overall, this is still a great game, and one of the best ports of the original The Sims ever made.

A good game with lots of things to do and fun to play.

The game has loads of items to buy and make your sim look like you.It is fun to watch your love ones pee their pants and cry.The monkey butler is the best item to own.You can be a rock star or a crook.Only bad things is no pets and not many things to wear. The looks of the game is as good as the computer title.

    Boring.....

    Created: 06/12/07
I bought this game because my daughter wanted it. She and I both played for a week or 2 and we both got bored with it. Basically, you make up a character and "control" their life. It's a little unrealistic and sometimes seems impossible. There are 6 different meters to watch...hunger, sleep, hygiene, etc. They all seem to get low at the same time and really quickly. You're working on trying to get one up and another one is going empty. For an example, your character will complain to you saying that they want to have fun. Meanwhile...they are starving! Also, I do not know if I got a foreign version or what...but if the makers were going to make the characters talk, they could have at least made them speak English! I get tired of hearing them grunt & moan. It's a good concept, but definitely not what I was expecting.
