Single White Vampire by Lynsay Sands (2003, Paperback)

Lindsay Sands has created a unique twist on the vampire myth. Her vampires feed from family owned blood banks and just want to find that one perfect person to spend eternity with. These vampires were created just before the fall of Atlantis and have Nano particles in their blood that repair any and nearly all damage thereby allowing them to live virtually forever. The problem is that they need to ingest a lot of blood to feed the Nanos.

This series of stories follow one family and their search for life partners. There is a lot of humor and sympathetic characters as well as some danger and jeopardy to the humans as well as the vampires.

Prepare to be hooked, these books are like potato chips - you can't read only one! Some of the series titles are a bit difficult to locate but are worth the search. Have some time when you begin one of these books because they are all hard to put down.

Paranormal romances are something I used to avoid, primarily because most of them are too gruesome or serious for me. Lynsay Sands's Argeneau series is anything but serious. In fact, this book contains one of the best, and funniest, sex scenes I have ever read. I was laughing out loud through most of the book. Her take on the vampire legend is quite unique ( I won't spoil it here) and the fact that this book is part of series makes it even better. Perfect for those who like contemporary romantic comedy.

SWV is a very fun book that I would recommend to anyone who is into the paranormal type books. Lynsay Sands does a wonderful job keeping you interested and laughing. Buy This Book!

The story has a twist to an old vampire love story. It give the vampire theory a new twist and gives it a family atmosphere. The comedy will have you in stitches and keeping you up all night laughing. I cannot wait to read the others about the family.

I really liked this book, it is the third book in a series so I highly recommend reading the first two books in the series before this one. I have found that the books carry on the characters from the previous book, which makes it very enjoyable. I am hooked on the series right now I am reading the fourth in the series and right now there is 10 books in the series.
