Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's London Studio, SingStar Amped offers a compilation of dozens of chart-topping hits for players to perform. Only SingStar allows players to steal the spotlight with a solo performance in single-player mode and share the stage with multiplayer options including cooperative Duet Mode, one-on-one Battle Mode and the team-based Pass-the-Mic. Players also can take their singing experience to the next level by using the EyeToy USB Camera to watch their performances in real time and playback those special moments again and again. The perfect game to keep the party going, players can easily expand their song library by accessing the song list from any SingStar game for the PS2 while playing another, via the quick disc swap feature.

    What I don't like... it takes awhile to scroll through songs and they don't seem to be listed in any useful order.

    The songs are definitely rock on this one. I liked the selection and my daughter and I were rocking out to them. The set up is the same as any other Sing Star game. It's a great party game and our kids all love to duet!

    SingStar Amped is a great game for the playstation 2. You can play alone or with a friend or a family member. There are several ways to play the game such as duet singing or to battle agaist someone to see who can get the best score. Also you can hook it to your eye toy to see yourself sing this can be a real fun singing challenge. The games are well worth the money. They bring family and frieds together for fun and laughter.

    I bought the Singstar Amped a few days ago and was immediately impressed with the variety of songs on this inexpensive game. Singstar Amped is perfect for any party, or just playing by myself. Other Singstar games I own have similar ways to play and you can access different levels and players so easily. Overall, I'd recommend the game if you're on a budget, or just wanna have fun in the safety of your own home.
