    COOL WITH FRIENDS!

    Created: 02/09/06
SOCOM II has many improvements from the original one. The graphics in the game are a minor improvement, but the most noticealbe improvement of all would be the AI. Your fellow comrades are on your sqaud are much smarter and can think for themselves. The voice recognition interface has also been improved. Your AI squad can now easily interpret what you say with ease than in the first game. SOCOM II does offer single player offline play, but an experienced player can be able to finish the game in less than a day. If you're going to plan on buying this game I recommend the online multiplayer. The maps on the multiplayer are fairly detailed in size and there are plenty nooks for your character to hide. This game is a must buy for people who like shooters and online combat play.

SOCOM II: US NAVY SEALS is one of the best!!!!!

    Created: 10/02/07
If you are looking for exciting, hardcore, nailbiting game play? This is the one! SOCOM II tests you each mission on your ability to lead and adapt to certain locations, climates and areas. It took a little while to get used to the meneuvering of the weapons, squad and self but after a little practice I was enjoying every mission more and more. The intense background music keeps you on the edge of your seat with every turn of a corner. I found myself starting a mission after dinner and ending my play in the early hours of the morning because of the intensity of this game. It just sucks you in that you can't shut it off! A great game for any gaming enthusiast!

    Socom 2

    Created: 05/04/07
A continuation of the very serious-feeling Socom 1. Minor improvements were made, but not major changes that make the game difficult to jump into. Not as cartoonlike and video-gamey as later versions.
But by far, the best thing about this game is that you can buy it on ebay and half.com for $3 and give it to all your friends. This game's online play is excellent.

Socom II, NOT as good as Socom 1

    Created: 04/08/10
This one just doesnt have enough missions, and certainly NOTT enough GOOD missions! The missions are pretty easy and short unlike Socom 1, Socom 1 was way better, tougher and longer! Graphics and sound are just about the same as the first Socom, NO upgrades here, Missions are quite lame, Weaponary is so-so. Only thing better from Socom II compared to SOCOM I is the fact that Team Mates ARE actually better in this one, Team Mates are more helpfull, better skilled and better at taking out enemies as opposed to Socom I where your team mates either didnt go where you wanted them to correctly or they were horrid shots! This is an OK game in the Socom family, just not the greatest of them! It's sorta worth a dollar or two, but I would NOT spend more than that for it.

    Best console shooter ever made.

The missions aren't that good cause its an online based game people.... This is literally THE best console online multiplayer game there ever was. This game took actual skill and those who played it are now dominating the competition in new games like call of duty. We had no perks no killstreaks and no UAV. This is how games should be it took raw skill. it wasn't a noob based game thats why half these people are complaining about it. There was no shortcuts like in new games where they added killstreaks and perks. Those were added so "new players" can actually get kills.
