The book is very basic and explains about the different types and guages of metals, as well as, what tools you need and how to use them, when making jewelry items.

This book is perfect for beginners and those with experience can use as a reference and technique refresher. Beautiful pictures and well written instructions make this book a keeper in my Metalsmithing library. Techniques translate well for studio use with adjustments and allowences for full size torches.
