Some Folks Call It a Sling Blade (DVD, 2002)

the dvd i bought "SOME FOLKS CALL IT A SLING BLADE" was NOT AT ALL what my family and I expected. It was only a beginning of the movie that replayed over and over. It was not a full length movie. It was horrible! And I'm very doubting that we order any more dvd's or movies from ebay!

This is the short and not the full length feature film. It is different from the feature film and is now part of my DVD collection. I would really recommend the full length film however.

THIS MOVIE, OR SHORT STORY, WAS A FAVORITE OF MINE. BILLY BOB THORNTON PLAYS THE ROLE TO A TEE. YOU ARE ABLE TO GET A GLIMPSE INTO THE MIND OF A MISUNDERSTOOD MAN WHO ONLY WANTS TO PROTECT THOSE THAT HE LOVES. AFTER WATCHING THE SHORT STORY, YOU WILL WANT TO SEE THE MOVIE, SLING BLADE, ITSELF. THIS SHORT IS JUST A TEASER FOR YOU. I LOVED IT.

I bought this because I have the movie Sling Blade. I thought this would be a good companion to it. This is very interesting because it has interviews with the stars and those who made it. I think Billy Bob Thornton is a genius and take any chance I can, to get inside his head. The most interesting part for me was finding out how he came up with the face he makes during the entire movie. I thought this was a movie, but it is actually a short film. So don't expect it to be a regular movie. Half of it is the interviews etc. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

it is more than just a short movie id say more like a long commercial length film it is not cast nor filmed well it is not like an exciting film that inspired the movie and when you read about the description on ebay it does not say this is a very short little non movie but it leads you to believe it is similar to the real movie when this is no movie at all
