Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (Nintendo GameCube, 2002)

I borrowed this game from one of my friends and i just couldnt stop playing it, seriously. The game isn't too hard to beat if you are good at games, but once you beat the game there are so many other things you get to do. You can raise a chao, which is a cute little pet that you feed and influence to become dark or light, and you can send them to school and enter them in contests like karate and racing. Also, there is 2 player mode which has games like jewel finding, street race, grind race, and a couple more. Also there are a bunch of characters! The characters( playable characters) include an indian girl that finds gems, chaos ( the blue liquid), sonic , shadow, tails , dr eggman, rouge, knucles, and the golden shadow and sonic. Summary: A great Action game. You can be GOOD or EVIL (the two teams, EVIL: Shadow, Rouge, and Dr. Eggman or GOOD: Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Shadow and Sonic go through speedy puzzle stages, Tails and Eggman ride their machines through 3rd-Person shooters, and Knuckles and Rouge run and dig to find the three pieces of the Master Emerald. After you beat the game as both teams, you unlock a second ending, where all the characters band together to beat The Final Hazard.

I adore this game. In my opinion it is the last sonic game that was worth playing. I grew up on the sega and adored sonic as my favorite game. I played the 3D games and never really liked them. The orginal Sonic Adventure for the dreamcast was a fun game but really can't compete with its sequel. This game introduces Shadow the ultimate lifeform and from what I can see he became an instant favorite among fangirls. I adore him. His game, however, fell short. You spend most of your time in this game switching between 6 characters, three on each side (light/dark). You go through three different kinds of levels that keep the game from getting old. This game has replay value in more ways than just the game. You will play for hours after beating the game simply to breed and raise chaos in the chao garden. Chaos are little creatures that eat and run around. You can race them, make them play karate, take them to school, breed them, and give them little animals that actually change what they look like. You find the little animals and "drives" in game as well as get rings to buy eggs and things for your chaos. It's alot of fun and its one of the things that makes this games appeal to girls as well as boys. After sonic adventure two battle came out we see sonic games such as the dark knight and Sonic unleashed which frankly was an insult to sonic, sega, and experinced gamers. Sonic lacks all control in that game and he loses everything that made him the fast little hedgehog we love. I haven't played Dark knight, but giving Sonic a sword is probably as bad as when they gave Shadow a gun. In short, This game is worth the money to buy, though unfortantly you can't buy it new anymore.

This game is pretty good. The graphics and game controls are a little weak, but the over all game play is fun. First off, you can choose to be the bad guys or the good guys. In each mode, there are levels where you have to hunt for diamonds and they are really boring. The other levels and multiplayer games are great with the legendary sonic sytle. Good buy.

The game is great to play. Great graphics make the game more fun than the other Sonic games. Although it is a bit older than the other Sonic games, it ranks at the top of the list!
