Sonic Mega Collection (Nintendo GameCube, 2002)

I already owned this game before purchasing it on ebay.I have no problems with the game itself.Ive been a huge fan of the sonic the hedgehog series from the very beginning.The reason I ordered a copy on ebay even though I already owned it was simply because of details on the case.I own the version that is "players choice" featuring yellow around the title on both the side and front of the case.As a collector I just wanted the original version, which features black instead.It is a rare copy but the image I saw on ebay was of this version.Unfortunately when I recieved my copy of the game it was the yellow one.I can blame only myself as I did not mention anything to the seller.There was no way for him to know.I still gave him a positive feedback.

I decided to buy this game because I loved it when it was on sega and I wanted to play like I use to back in the 90's. I dont like how you still can not save what you play. You only can save level 3 out of 7 levels. It makes me dont want to play seriously because I know once I cut the game off I will have to start all over again.

If you like classic games then you will want to own this. All of the original sonic games for the Sega Geneses are perfectly copied into this one disk. It can be a refreshing experience these days to go back and play a game that you can actually lose; this is of course something that’s missing from games today thanks to save points. If you are too young to have played these games on thier orrigional system then you should try it and see if you are actually any good without the saftey net of the mighty save points.

I love everything about it! It has all the famous sonic games on one. The only thing I do not care for is that the Sonic one is only one player. Every game on the disc is a sonic game plus all great family games. I have 4 children and they are all under 7. Every one of them can play it. It was a favorit from when I was growing up played on Sega. If you want a very family (EVERYONE) rated game this is the one for you. Play it as one player or more. Bring back those old memories as you play with your children today. Grafics are better than the first addition of the Sonic games. This is a MUST have game pac if you own a Nintendo Game Cube!
