Sony BDP-S570 3D Blu-Ray Player

I love the fact that this player has wi-fi installed on the player and you don't need a bridge or usb adapter to plug in. Great features with the access directly online with a Sony TV and for me the Bravia benefits with all of my systems ( home stereo, tv and dvd player) all synced together.

The options on how the sound, video, picture etc is set up is very user friendly. I paid $185 for mine and that's about $50 less than you can get it direct from Sony right now. Just search on eBay and you will find some great bargains.

I did a lot of research on the different 3D ready Blue Ray players. Since I had waited this long to buy a blue ray player of any type, I felt it important to get the unit that would provdie the most flexibility with internet content. The set up was a piece of cake. I was able to immediately sign on to my wireless network. You will find there are a lot of different content sources to access. It just comes down to what you like. In my case I am going to get rid of all my premium home movies channels. Paired with my netflix account, I don't think I will ever need to pay the extra $70 per month again. I may keep HBO since their TV shows are some of my favorite. That will be a personal choice. Still, the versatility of this Blue Ray player is fantastic. You don't even need blue ray DVD's. This is a great place to start planning for the 3D TV down the road. While researching, I found that many had problems streaming content and what not...I just followed the steps to the letter and it works beautifully. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks seller and Ebay.

the price was very close retail when there is a 10% discount at best buy the only dif was no calif tax but shipping charges do cost..and i purchase a use one( not i new one) the warranty was still wallet for one year from purchace ..i reason why i like this model is/ its wireless and it plays all my blu,rays because my last player pioneer stop playing my blu rays for some reason i cant explain but it was a pain in the ass when you buy the first movie that came out on blu ray you bring home and it will not play on your player! so i had enough i said it time for another player i can put the other one in the bedroom and put the SONY BDP S570 in the front room where the 52" tv is and suround sound is now i dont have to worry about this problem anymore and i can get my netflix too and look at utube or any up to date movies if want and i can watch 3D movies too

This is an excellent Blu-Ray DVD player. The load time is good and the images are solid with no problems whatsoever. I really like the little screen on the front of the player that displays digital messages to let you know what's going on. We already had a Sony big screen TV, so the DVD player controls interface well with the TV. I researched prices for this unit and other similar ones and found the buy-it-now price was considerably lower than those available on commercial web sites.

Everything about the player is great - except the audio hook up. It will connect to a tv ok but if you want to use it with your computer, you are only allowed the speakers on the flat screen monitor. Not good enough, because the sound is barely audible. Maybe the complaint should be with the monitor not having a 3 wire hookup or another interface to allow the supplemental monitor speakers to be activated. So far haven't found a solution to the problem other than installing an blu-ray disc on my computer.
