Does it all well!

I love this phone - call quality is fantastic on both ends, and reception is excellent. Mine is an unlocked phone I'm using with my ATT SIM. It takes really great pictures, so crisp and color reproduction is exact. However, do not use this to take self portraits, as the color comes out weird; I guess because your hand is in front of the camera, blocking some of the flash? Anyway, I never leave my cell at home, but I always forget my camera and I have young kids, so now I can take good pictures whenever because it takes the best pictures out of any camera phone - has real xenon flash and auto focus. Even the video from this phone is better than decent, and it has the software to upload it in seconds to You Tube, Facebook, etc. The only things I can find fault with are its chubby dimensions and that it takes several seconds to save the file when you snap a picture, delaying the next picture. However, these are such minor beefs when you consider all you're getting at such a reasonable price - it so many 'smart' phone features; even has wifi despite the fact it's a 'dumb' phone, so you can get free internet on your phone wherever there's wifi AND you don't have to pay extra every month on your phone bill like you're forced to do with a 'smart' phone. I did a LOT of research before settling on this phone, and I'm glad I did as it fits my needs perfectly.

Review after using the C905 for 3 months.

The Pros
- Sliding form to allow for larger screen
- Fantastic camera
- Great video recording
- MP3 player
- FM radio
- Email
- Watch full movies
- Nice Web browser
The Cons
- No QWERTY keypad
- Short battery life
- Only takes Sony M2 memory cards
I've owned the W810i and K850i before and the C905a blows them all away. The feel of the phone is nice and the camera is VERY simple to use. The real digital camera has so many options it's unbelievable. It's not hard to get used to it, but takes some time to play around with.
Also it has great video too. It can shoot video up to 2 hours in high-quality. You can also post them on YouTube straight from the phone. Definitely suited for those who have kids or and active lifestyle.
I also use the email, MP3 player and FM radio a lot.

Sony Ericsson C905
Created: 21/10/09
The phone it self is very nice, clean lines, modern look, and slide system that feels very secure, and sturdy. Unfortunately the same can't be said about internal hardware. After about 3 days of receiving what was basically a brand new phone (slightly used) I ran into an apparently very common ear speaker speaker problem, the problem it self is an easy fix, you either have to replace the flex cable, or find a way to ground the speaker properly. Another problem I encountered with this is the "D" center button, seems to be very stiff, and really sensitive, doesn't have a very good feel to it, also the battery cover is somewhat fragile. On the other side of the coin, the camera for this phone is outstanding, the radio function is really great, expandable memory, and the media software is one of the best i've seen. The GPS with the right software (google maps) is very helpful, thou I would have liked to seen actual keys for the keypad, instead of and flat intergrated (sheet style) assembly, I like the clean look of the keypad.
Thou I really like the look of the phone, and really, the overall feel of it. I would hope the Sony Ericsson, would fix this minor problems with the internal hardware, otherwise a great phone.

Sony Ericsson phones are great!
Created: 04/08/10
The phone is great and so is the camera. An 8.1 megapixel camera with a phone is very uncommon. I bought a Sony 2GB M2 memory card, which is more than enough. I can store thousands of pictures and hundreds of songs. The other great thing is that I can just bluetooth all my pictures and music to my computer, which is great because I dont have to use a single wire! I even bought the Motorola S9-HD headphones which allows me listen to my music wirelessly. These are great accessories I bought in addition, which allow me to make use of all the uses of my phone.
The only flaw on my c905 is that it doesn't charge when its off. This means that if the battery dies, I am unable to turn the phone back on. It just happened recently, so I had to charge the battery in one of my old Sony Ericsson phones and then had to stick it back in my c905. Its an odd concept and I probably have a defective phone, but as long as I make sure to charge it when its on it works perfectly fine.
Overall: Great phone with great additional features (wifi, GPS, camera)
I really do like Sony Ericsson phones. The quality, the features, and the name behind the phone!

C905 is an excellent upgrade from a previous SE low-end
Created: 04/09/10
If you are a regular user of SE phones and you are not ready to make the move to a full-blown smartphone, the C905 is an excellent upgrade from the K-series phones (that I have been using). I love the camera, the Wi-fi and the fact that moving from K800 to C905 is seamless. All the functionality, UI and more can be found in the C905.
You can easily sync with isync on a Mac (after downloading a plugin from SE), which makes managing contacts and my schedule very easy.
Overall, this is an excellent phone, packed with lots of useful features (8.1 MP camera, Wi-fi, GPS, flashlight, etc), reasonable battery life, good synching capabilities in both Mac and Windows and a reasonable price.
The downside is that the applications market for C905 seems rather limited.
