This console is dangerous and can keep you from doing what you're really supposed to be doing. It's very addictive, does just about everything except cook my dinner. I love the buddylist, and the trophy add-on. Plays Blu-ray perfectly without any problems. I love the playstation Home, and that you can follow friends to different areas of the social area, and even play games against each other (like bowling for example).

The hard drive is easy to upgrade if you need more space, or you can just use an external drive through 1 of the the USB ports in the front. The system is also quiet, 1000% more quiet than the X***360.

The remote play was a perfect idea. You can control your PS3 wireless with your PSP, and even turn the PS3 on from the internet when you're not even at home, and play some of the PS#/PSP compatible games from your PSP.

It also acts like a wireless router you can connect to so you can access the internet..

Watch streaming movies from the internet using Netflix, Hulo Plus, just to name a few. There's more you can do with this system but it's going to take a while to list everything. Get you 1 if you haven't already.

Having owned both an Xbox 360 and this I sold the Xbox.
The bluray player, the graphics, no three rings of death and the ability to upgrade harddrives easily.
Only weakness is the exclusive availability of games to Xbox or ps3.
That is an industry problem not Sony. Great Gaming Machine.

I don't know what a Spiderman 3 Bundle is. I really wanted a PS3, RCA cables, and a controller. I got that and more. This arrived two days before the earliest scheduled arrival date, in a box full of foam peanuts and a coating of bubble wrap. It looks and works like a new console. It came with a wireless controller, and a DVD for "Call of Duty: Black Ops" had been left in the port. The graphics surprised me, even going through my 2004 CRT. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010 looked like the Golf Channel. The menu had selections for Netflix! The machine is quiet, and I didn't see it overheat, although i did have it up on a perforated metal shelf to ensure good ventilation. GTA 4 actually had to _install_ itself, as on a computer. For GTA4, I thought the graphics were a bit better than the XBOX 360. Setup was as easy as a PS2, except for the wireless controller, but the PS3 walked me through that, and then I had a wireless controller. Cool!

The PS3 game system is an excellent buy. It has movies, music, networking, and most importantly games! If you can get one for cheap, I would get an older one, as they play PS1 PS2 and PS3 games. Which makes the choices almost limitless. Beware though, because older consoles are known to overheat more easily, and possibly damage the system. Unlike the competing console the Xbox 360 you can upgrade the storage of a PS3 with the simple purchase of any laptop hard drive instead of being stuck with a proprietary awkwardly shaped hard drive. The amount of freedom you have with a PS3 is far greater than that of the Wii, or the 360.
