    Great product. It does just what we wanted it to do--transfer old beta tapes to DVD before they erased themselves. Quick and easy once we got started! We had an old beta machine and it didn't have very good quality, so looked on e-bay for one. We know that they haven't made new ones for years, so we would have to buy a refurbished one. Would highly recommend one like this.

    I like the Beta format. Unfortunately, my Sony Betamax wore out. I needed a replacement and found a most excellent bargain on eBay.

    Everything arived in working order. Using it to transfer old home movies to DVD. The included tape lauding Beta as "the future of home video" was a pretty sweet bonus.

    not having a remote control is a drawback. I bought this to copy bete home movies to dvd. it does the job.
