Album Notes
The chorus on the opening tune includes the lyrics "Blood and family/Darkness and death/Depravity" -- wow, that's so heavy, man. Anyway, those lyrics and such uplifting ditties as "The Grave" and especially "Torture Chamber" set the tone for this release. The lyrics of "Torture Chamber" offer "Torture chamber/I am in hell," which describes what the listener goes through while listening to Spear of Destiny. This is the kind of stuff that 14 year olds find really cool (actually, the drum work is somewhat cool), but it's actually eight tracks of stupid music for stupid people. ~ Tim Griggs
