Spider-Man: The New Animated Series - High Voltage Villains (DVD, 2004)

Great Storyline and Cartoon Graphics. I was however disappointed that they used some mild Cursing in the cartoon series. I wish that they could leave this stuff out since these DVD's were for my 4 year old son. I would rather children not hear cursing on the cartoons. It is difficult enough to try to sensor regular TV. This was not a great role model and it would not have affected the storyline if they would have just left the cursing out.

I like that it has 5 different episodes, but they are too short, other than that oi OK. I got for my 3 year old boy who is addicted to the real movie, so i wanted to see if he would rather switch to the animated series, but no way he likes the real stuff.

As a mom of a 4 year old boy who loves Spiderman, I thought the movies were too violent, so I opted for the cartoon. When I was a kid they played Spiderman cartoons on Saturday morning and it was NOTHING like this. The first two lines on this cartoon says a cuss word in it! It has sexual references, curse words and is more violent than the movie. I think this is great for an adult, NOT for a child! Not even a 13 year old. It was made for MTV and I think that audience is more mature in nature. So if you are an adult, this is for you, but I do not recommend for the kiddos!

Not for young children. My son is 3 yrs old and he only got to watch this one time. There is swearing. The girls in the movie are dressed inappropriately and it just isn't suited for children. You would think since it is aminated it would be fine, however it is not. Should only be bought for much older children or adults!

I bought this DVD and I thought that it was for kids because its cartoon, but its too violent and scary for kids to watch.
