Stalking Laura (DVD, 2007)

"Stalking Laura" is one of those made-for-tv Lifetime type movies that is part corny part intriguing. This movie stars Brooke Shields and Richard Thomas. Brooke gets a job at a computer firm and is immediately stalked by the abrasive, annoying Thomas. He tries bullying her into dating him, but she just ends up really hating him. As she tries to avoid him more, he becomes extremely aggressive. Eventually the firm fires him and he goes into the building with guns-a-blazing. Let me say that the fact that he kills just about everyone in the office building was quite shocking, but really drove home the impact of how dangerous a stalking situation can become and how the victim must be taken seriously. The content of the movie isn't very complex and it becomes kind of annoying when the stalker keeps taking over everything that Brooke Shield's tries to do, but most movies about this subject don't really drive home the impact like this movie does in the end. It's really cool that Brooke just goes on with her life and doesn't let him get her down easily. However, she is not taken seriously at first when she complains about him to her company. Not much else to say, basically, stalker sees beautiful girl, stalker bullies beautiful girl, girl hates stalker, stalker gets fired, stalker kills everybody.

I have no dislikes at all.
I saw the movie on TV and always wanted to see it again.
The cover was in perfect shape, as was the DVD itself.

same as title. i was left with a good movie that took me back a decade into my college years. the good 'ol days. the all or nothing days.

I saw this movie on Lifetime a long time ago. It is a must have. Brooke Shields is a great actress.
