) I bought this movie to show my Spanish class. It's good for them to see Hispanic people in a positive light. It's a cool movie because it's based on a true story. It's a little slow in some parts for high schoolers, but it's a much needed break from normal curriculum and routine.

) As a teacher in a Latino neighborhood in NYC I felt the it is important to show this movie to my class as a motivativation stagegy.
This year I was just moved from a primary grade to middle school, 6, 7, and 8 grades.
I'll be showing the movie to the 7th and 8th grades only. I understand that due to the fact that this movie is rated PG, I'll need a written permission from parents.
