) I purchased this book a couple months ago and read it in a day or so, I could not put it down. Told from the perspective of the man who has brought us James. T Kirk, this book is about the people who made what many consider to be the best American produced science fiction television show to date. This book takes you on a journey to the why, what, where, and how Star Trek was created, canceled, saved, then canceled again. An outstanding read for those who want to know what happen behind the scenes.

) It is a fun book - I can actually hear William Shatner narrating the story! It is mostly about the production of the TV series - I woud have enjoyed it more if it had more information about the relationships of the actors. Good book -
