Movie synopsis
In STAR TREK VI - THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY, the cold war between the Federation and the Klingons thaws out when the leader of the crumbling alien empire makes a peace offering. Admiral Kirk (Willliam Shatner) and the crew are quickly sent to escort the Klingon ruler to treaty talks, but they unknowingly stumble into the middle of a political assassination--and soon Kirk and Dr. McCoy (DeForest Kelley) are framed for the dignitary's murder. Sent off to a frozen gulag planet, the two plot their escape while Spock (Leonard Nimoy) and the rest of the old gang try to find out who the real killer is. The future of the intergalactic peace movement depends on their success.

) The movie is a great way to end the orginal Star trek crew. Many of them tell each other their good-byes and what they would be doing in "retirement" from their jobs as trekers. Spock and Captain Kirk say their good byes to each other and in doing so to us as well. It also has a "special" character, who later gets a role as one of the lead characters in the hit tv show, Star Trek Next Generation ( you will have to see it, to figure out who it is ). This movie gets a 5 out of 5 from me b/c of the acting, special effects, props, and an over all great way to end a great series as Star Trek was. If you are a true Star Trek fan, or know someone who is, this would be the best gift to give!

) A good finale for the original "Star Trek" cast. Even non-fans will enjoy it. The crew goes out with a bang and class.

If you are a star trek fan this is a must! Anyone who loves Star Trek will love this DVD. Once you start watching you may become a Trekkie.

) ive always was a star trek fan. spock and kirk, a must have if your a star trek fan. has just enough action and also some laughter all mixed in.

I wasn't expecting this movie to be so awesome! It has some interesting twists and turns along the way. I found it to be very enjoyable and a great addition to my Star Trek collection.
