Product Information
The STAR WARS EPISODE I universe comes to the PlayStation with STAR WARS EPISODE I: Jedi Power Battles. The game loosely follows the plot of the movie, and allows you to control one of five Jedi masters: Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, and Adi Gallia. Each Jedi has unique abilities, combinations, and force powers, and understanding the relative strengths and weaknesses of each character is essential for success as you battle through 10 levels that culminate in a duel with the evil Darth Maul. Should the forces of the Trade Federation keep winning, have a friend help you take up the battle with the two-player Cooperative mode. good game for price

Created: 03/10/07
This is a fun game to play with a friend. It is a bit difficult and jumping sequences can be very frustrating at times. 2 players is definatly harder than single player do to bad camara angles, pushing your buddy off of small platforms, and sharing points to end of level bonuses. It is satisfying to learn new combo moves and force powers at each level and is overall a pretty fun game given it is a PS1 game for $7. There is decent replay value as well given new characters when beating the game, and advancing the skills of original characters you did not play with the first time through. A good buy, just be prepared to control your jumping or throw your controller out the window.

Unlike Episode 1, this game has it all!!

Created: 05/01/11
Cons
-terrible jumps/camera angles. Just terrible.
-too much work to unlock extras. Way overboard.
Pros
-John Williams music
-Gameplay is fun!! Plays like a 'Force Unleashed' multiplayer game(although the force moves are near terrible+playstation 1 graphics)
-Terrible camera angles add to funny-as-hell jump glitches. Especially 2 player. (bad and good)
-Replay value is Awesome: Play as Darth Maul, or other characters + extra stages
-Funny and competitive: whoever can collect the most funny "Yoda" power-ups and kill the plants/computers gets more points. MUST play 2 player.
-Ride the TANK??? Who the f!!! is Adi Gallea and why is she a jedi with the fastest speed and red lightsaber. Why is it so fun to die??? Especially being shot 'down' by an enemy, or by a glitche!?!
I know I'm being generous, but this game hold a lot of nostalgia, and they really improved it from Episode 1 game and masters of teras kasi.

Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles (Playstation 1)

Created: 05/06/08
I am a huge Star Wars fan and wanted to finish off my Star Wars collection of games for the Playstation One when i came across Star Wars Episode 1:Jedi Power Battles. It is a good Star Wars game for the original Playstation. It is mostly an action title but has some platforming elements that can be a little frustrating at times, thus keeping it from an excellent rating. You can play up to two players at the same time as you traverse through levels based on scenes from the movie. You can pick from Jedi in the movies including Obi-Wan and Qui-Gonn.The graphics and sound are good for a Playstation One game.If you like Star Wars and you always wanted to be a Jedi, you will like this game. B.C.

I bought this game in order to convert it using a program called popstation and then putting the converted ISO onto my PSP memory card. It worked like a champ and now I know that i can play any PS1 game i want on my PSP. This was the one that i remembered as one of the best, so I tried it 1st.
