This game is an adaptation of the Star Wars film of the same name. Nevertheless, it differs in many ways. The levels are based on events in the movie, but with more action, more complications along the way, more enemies. These are things that either would have had to happened offscreen during the events in the movie, or are extended and extreme versions of sceens actually in the movie. It presents the same basic story as the movie, but goes about it differently. The part where that really becomes interesting is during the assualt on the Jedi Temple, which we get to see very little of in the movie. On the other hand, the absolute strangest ommission is that of Padme Amidala. The game mentions her once, very breifly in passing. Padme is a central element in the movie, she is the ultimate reason for a lot of the huge events that happen and decisions that Anakin makes. None of that here. It's somewhat bizzare if you're actually following the story while playing. You might as well, as the gameplay doesn't vary enough to keep you interested based solely on that. Mainly hack and slash, with some shooting sequences sprinkled here and there. There is an awesome alternate ending included in the form of a bonus stage. And the previously mentioned Jedi Temple stages were, much more interesting and fun than the DLC for The Force Unleashed. All told, this isn't a bad game, and as long as you don't take it too seriously it's fun. There's no exploration or dialogue here, that's KOTOR's realm. This is a fun little version of the movie, and it makes me wish we had gotten game adaptations of the other movies as well.

Revenge of the Sith, May the Force Be with You!

Created: 02/07/06
I personally am quite a Star Wars game fan, from Star Wars Knight Jedi Acadamy, to the all new Knights of the Old Republic and Clone Wars, I enjoy them all. this game is great quality especially if played in HDTV, and has scenes from the movie included in the game, and the voices are played by the actually actors. its rated T for teen, but I would feel confident in allowing my ten year old to play it and not be worried about language or blood and gore, all your pretty much doing is kicking metal. Highly recomended by me, so get it today!

Good game

Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith is a good game. It has the feel of the Lord of the Rings games. You take the place of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker (Later on as Darth Vader), but you don't pick which character like Lord of the Rings. Instead, it depends on which level you pick. Like if you pick a Utapau level, you play as Obi-Wan. It is a fun game, though it could have been better.

Average game

There's better games for sure. It's not bad though. I prefer the Starwars Battlefront games. On this one I just play the duels, or Jedi training whatever it's called. Thats alone almost worth the price. As you progress through the levels of the game you unlock more opponents and areas to fight in, also the bonus missions are OK. It's just not as lifelike or engaging as Battlefront I and II.

If you are not a Star Wars fan that you may not enjoy this game. Very basic stuff here as far as game play goes and it follows the movie nicely however unless you are a fan of the game then I don't recommend it. The graphics are just OK and the sound seems to skip in places. Maybe that is just my Xbox but I didn't have problems with other games.
