Star Wars Galaxies -- The Complete Online Adventures (PC, 2006)

What can i say? I love it! I started out with Star wars Galaxies Empire divided and upgraded by buying Lightspeed. Which really opened the game up. But then i found out about two more expansion packs Rage of the wookies and Obi wan. Which added new missions,planets,vehicles,char​aters,etc. Unable to find them on their own like lightspeed i boght the star wars Galaxies complete. Unistalled my old program and put this one in. Not only does it all come on one disc instead of the 4 i had for Empire divided and light speed it has everything and more than the others. On just one account i have 4 different characters in 4 different galaxies. You can have a maximum of 10 i think allowing you to explore every avenue and possibilty of the different characters that you can design. Truly a great buy.

As a return player, much has been said and argued concerning all the changes in SWG. I suppose I had it easy. I left, and came back 3 years later, having forgot how to play the "old way". Other than the lower population in my original server, I was VERY happy with the way the game plays. Lots of veteran awards helped, but the GUI is easier, and smooth. I moved to a much more populated server (free of charge btw), and now I have no complaints. The game is MUCH easier wrt skills and professions. And there is NO other MMO that does spaceflight like SWG (and yes, I have EVE Online as well). No comparison. Two different types of games. Playing Eve I now find myself wishing for an in-cockpit view, with a wonderful opportunity to LAND on that strange moon I am orbiting. In SWG you can.

With a mature crowd, and smmoth controls and leveling, SWG is a real good MMO.

The classic start wars fell in a MMORGP this game is one of choices. Since the NGE ( new game engnine ) It close to a Star Wars Version of world of warcraft... but the game has alot of set up for Role playing and alot of extra star wars plots and goodies.
Love - the enteractions with other players
Liked - the plots and theme based quest you have to run.
dislike - leveling it was more than a grind and since most of the game is end game content it can be slow at times.

Own your own house on a couple houses. Unique housing including a YT-1300 Freighter (Millenium Falcon). Enjoy hunting Bounties on players in real time Player vs Player bounty hunting. Or enjoy PVP in 1 of the many city invasions that happen every 3 hours. If you enjoy solo play there is endless amounts of quest and missions to do. Want to explore space? You can level up as Rebel/Imperial/Neutral and pilot and customize each component of your starship! There is even space PVP.

Great to have all the online expansions in one box! Great game overall. I bought a copy to upgrade an existing account and get the cool AT-RT!
