Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot is definitely a MUST-SEE movie!

Estelle Getty and Sylvester Stallone and JoBeth Williams are some of my favorite comedy stars!

Just imagine being Sylvester Stallone (a tough policeman)having Estelle Getty (widow) as his Mom! JoBeth Williams (his boss) and he have been in a longstanding on-again-off-again relationship (he's afraid to commit).

Mom meddles in her son's life, comes for an extended visit him, completely rearranges his apartment, constantly cleans house and even cleans his gun! She just keeps on getting in his way and embarrassing him. Her son is fit to be tied, but she witnessed a crime and refuses to tell all the details until they finally agree to allow her to help with the investigation. She even runs interference in her son's love life (with his boss, no less). .... You get the picture!

After all is said and done, .... Mom-Knows-Best!

I really like the interaction of the characters, the fast-paced action and the complex situations and the ensuing emotions.

This product I rate as a 5/5 EXCELLENT for story line, great choice in actors and actresses for their wonderful interaction (I just know they had a blast making this film). Truly, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shot is overall an enjoyable and wholesome movie!

A comedy about an overbearing mother who becomes her son's partner in crime-fighting. Tutti Bomowski's visit to her policeman son Joe is extended when she witnesses a drive-by shooting and is required by the cops to remain in the area. Soon she's helping Joe apprehend criminals -- and still finding plenty of time to interfere in his romantic affairs.

Los Angeles police Sergeant Joe Bomowski has his life turned upside-down when his feisty mother comes to town for a rare visit. She is soon rearranging his home and his affairs. To add to Joe's problems, she witnesses a murder and becomes his unlikely partner when she refuses to divulge information unless she's allowed in on the investigation.

Stop! or My Mom Will Shoot, what a comic gem of a movie. Made in 1992 this flick from back in the day still holds up very well today in 2008. This movie about a cop and his crazy and cool mom rocks big time.

I loved that movie it is so funny the way the mother tells the son how to take care of himself but he can. It is so funny when Mom tried to shoot that man and blow the smoke out of the gun. It is funny movie and I love that actor Slyvester Stallone. He is one of my favorites..

i got this dvd for my husband its one of many his favs and he has not giving it time to cool down he keep playing it over and over again i starting to know what they are saying before they say it who would know that a dvd would make a husbands day
