    Album Notes
Personnel: Jon B. (vocals, various instruments); Babyface (vocals, various instruments); Tank , Beenie Man, Farena (vocals); Dirt McGirt, 2Pac, Scarface (rap vocals).Jon B. spent most of the early 1990s producing poppy R&B acts, including Toni Braxton and Color Me Badd, before he got a chance to show off his own rich, dulcet singing voice. His initial solo outings revealed him to be quite the hit-maker, striking a balance between dance and soul. Jon B.'s fourth record, STRONGER EVERYDAY, bears an apt title, as the album finds the multi-talented performer truly discovering his particular niche. From the first track, "Everytime," where the always-unpredictable rapper Dirt McGirt lets loose, Jon B. reveals a sound that is both harder and smoother. On his first three efforts, B.'s best moments were when he molded '70s funk into his own modern take on urban R&B. STRONGER EVERYDAY finds a sweet soul groove and hangs in there for five alluringly sensual tracks before switching into a hip-hop-inspired style, and these tracks include guest shots from Scarface and Tupac (B. worked with the legendary rapper before his death). Whether he's gliding along a mellow tune or working an up-tempo beat, Jon B. presents some of his finest songs on STRONGER EVERYDAY.

    slept on

    Created: 07/11/06
Why is this man the most slept on R&B artist of our time? True Jon's albums don't have the type of songs you hear all day on the radio (which in some ways is a good thing) but there is no other artist who makes albums that you can just put on and play all the way through with no skipping of tracks like he does. His talents are worth listening to. I must admit the first time I heard this album I did not think it was as strong as Cool Relax and PUL, but as I kept listening and coming back to it the album won me over like the others. Very strong artist. We will miss albums like his when he stops making music.

This is one of the most overlooked men in R&B and it almost irritates me! This CD is amazing, there are some really sexy songs on this album (as well as his others) he needs better marketing, better promotion. The world is missing out on this man and I feel bad for them.

One of Jon B best albums. Scarface appearance, Tank. Hot production as always and some good Slow Jams too.

    The greatest ever!

    Created: 31/03/10
This man is so good at writing songs that he needs to be in a Hall of Fame somewhere. I know that there are a lot of children that have been created just because of this album. He shows his true sexy side and will have women everywhere feeling all hot and bothered. He says what women what to hear to get them in the mood. Great! Great!

One of Jon B.'s best if the greatest albums he's ever done. Shame that it was under promoted by his labels executives.
