fun game with a retro feel.it has updated songs that were written in the 50's but now have a modern feel but still have the old feel too.if you played destroy all humans you would probably like this one.it has a cool way of completeing missions like peeing in the town water supply to make it toxic.roll your head, throw your hand, possess humans and use them to destroy, throw gut grenades, fart to throw humans off enough to easily eat their brains. i liked this game,it is a little short but short good games are easy to play over again,i beat in with my girlfriend in co-op split screen mode in about 6-8 hours.

    STOP EATING MEEEEEE!

    Created: 26/10/06
this game is a refreshing, light-hearted twist on the zombie genre. you play as stubbs the zombie, a decent, working-class zombie with a taste for the cerebellum. what sets this game apart from nearly every other game out there is the originality (YOU'RE the one eating the brains!), the top-notch music (i have a soft spot for 50s tunes), the easy-to-learn controls, and most importantly: the FUN factor!!!

you can play solo or team up with a buddy (TWELVE TIMES the fun). even if you go it alone, you won't be alone for long! once you eat people's brains, they turn into zombies and aid you in your delicious quest :D HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! you can MAKE people into your allies. you gain funny abilities such as the stomach bomb, atomic fart (XD), head bowling, and my favorite: the hand of possession! you can drive tractors, trucks, rips peoples arms off and beat them to death with them.

the places you'll be stumbling around in vary from the clean streets of the city, to a police station, to a laboratory. sometimes things can get confusing and you'll end up wandering around for a good half hour, but there are people to kill all the while, so it's cool.

the easy-going 50s songs provide a nice background to the cries of agony and sounds of mutilation. OHHHHHH and i haven't even MENTIONED the dance off with the chief of police! the people who made this game have got a great sense of humor, and you'll be seeing that ALL through this game.

you can possess people with guns and artillery, you can use corners and corn fields to your advantage, picking people off as they walk right by you unaware of your presence. you'll also go up against tanks in this game, which, needless to say, is a real bitch.. but still fun all the while :D

to sum it up: this game is an INSTANT classic. once x-box drops to 100 bucks, this game (along with the HALO games) will be reason enough to buy an x-box. TWO BONGS WAYYYYYY UP!

Have this game for Mac, love it,had to get it for Xbox! My Twin's got a hold of it and became addicted at 10 years old I'm afraid to say. They never stopped begging me to let them play "Stubbs". Now the Twin's are 15,this Is for them.
It's a great deal compared to what I payed for the Mac version 5 years ago.

Zombies never seem to go out of style?!!

    A Zombie with Attitude

First the Disclaimer I'm in my 60's and my reflexes are slow and I don't smoke.
That being said Stubbs is not your typical button mashing game. You have time to think, plan your attack. Stubbs pays homage to the 'B' monster movies, and who hasn't wanted to be the monster, reek mayhem and enjoy being the 'bad' guy.
I have over 50 XBOX games and Stubbs is one of the few that I finished. I would not call it easy, rather it rewards you with enough pleasure that you continue
to the end. I play games for the fun not the fusration. My grandkids enjoy Stubbs too, though they are 'button mashers' with fast reflexes so they don't have to plan. They play co-op and laugh all the way to the end. There are adult
themes and bathroom humor so I would not reccomend to the very young.

"I can forget about going to college" - Zombie Mantra

    Created: 27/04/06
Stubbs the Zombie! Great game. A little too short. This game is definitely worth a game play. There are so many games where players battle zombies, although on Resident Evil Outbreak via network play, one can get fully infected, become a zombie and then make things more interesting and try to bite your buddies, but it doesn’t last long until your player character is a mindless zombie then its game over. Stubbs has decidedly to put the player on the flip side, play the zombie and eat brains. Although I wish the game could create a larger zombie horde, but there are many in-game scenarios that can be played with different zombie tactics. Great music! Great Graphics! Good humor! The learning curve is really easy. I’ll watch a movie and like it, so I'll buy the movie DVD and later, whenever I feel like watching some comedy, scifi, horror or whatever; I’ll pull out that DVD out of the cabinet and watch it. To me, this is definitely a favorite and I would suggest this game is worth owning, because it’s worth replaying because one may feel the need to add more brains to their diet. Undead zombie fans, you got try this game! You just gotta!
